Seriously, I had never feel so angry and feel like going to the all the tutors and scream at them about their decision - transferring a student into our class at our most important academic year. How can they do such thing to our class? Just by looking at the DMK students chart, it so obvious that our class is the worst among all the 4. Yet they still transfer a student who need "special" care and giving us more trouble. Why? It is because the initial class he in is the TOP class so do not want him to affect the overall performance of that class? At the same time we go on to be the bottom also okay?
Honestly speaking I see the changes of my fellow classmates after the TEP, I guess most of them really wish to do well and graduate by next year. Alright I shall not say it as if I'm representing all my classmates.
Just to be specific, I'm so "lucky" to be in the same project group with this student for 3 modules (Consumer Behavior/ International Business/ Marketing Research), and just 1 single project he already start giving us problem. Firm email with clear instructions for him is a "STRESSING" command. The on and off attitude of committing in the project cause the whole group to be in total confusion. Tutor seem to thought that we are not giving this fellow a chance to do work when we already tried our best to work thing out with him even till the every last minute.
I can understand that there bound to be freeloader in every project team, it's a matter of how 1 handle that teammate(s) and is about leadership skill etc. But now besides monitoring and working for good grades, we got to do double BACKUP plan and no just be thoughtful we still have to be extreme BE CAREFUL when communicate with this student. Tutors are you going to tell us is it an additional training for our "INTERPERSONAL SKILL"?
I understand that you might say "If you don't accept him, you think others will? Give him a chance assist him...blahblahblah..." Can anyone please tell me will you moderate our grades because we are spending extra time to assist this student and might cause the poor performance of our report and presentation? Come on we are just students, you can't expect us to handle all as if "NO BIG DEAL"!
I need an answer! I know my wish of tutor to read this post is almost 0% but I really need to express this out before I go crazy. Personally, I admit that I got no high EQ so don't expect me to be Great Sane. I also don't have Good IQ so I definitely will not have spare time to entertain this person anymore.
Alright I shall end here. Anyway, LECTURERS AND TUTORS I'll be visiting all your office soon before I also suffer from DEPRESSION AND COMMIT SUICIDE!
